Why I chose MCW

I chose MCW because the resources available for residents to succeed are second to none. The focus in the Department of Orthopaedics is training residents to become great Orthopaedic surgeons clinically and technically. The majority of faculty trained here and are invested in ensuring the success of our residents. MCW offers a complete and comprehensive orthopedic training all in the same medical complex. The volume and diversity of trauma experience at MCW was very important in my decision making. The Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin is world class. The multidisciplinary musculoskeletal oncology center at MCW offers a unique experience to potential orthopedic trainees that is difficult to replicate.

What I like about living in Milwaukee

Milwaukee is a great city! Milwaukee has all the big city amenities but you still have the small town feel. The sense of community in Milwaukee is higher than any other city I have lived in.
