- Why I chose MCW
The MCW training program offers “big city” case breadth and volume in an environment that is easier to train and live happily in. With regard to upper extremity surgery, residents have a vast exposure to both pediatric and adult pathology from the clavicle to the fingertip, as well as advanced arthroscopy and microsurgical techniques.
- What MCW has to offer to a Candidate
Options. Whether it is to join a private practice right out of residency or matriculate to a top tier fellowship, MCW provides residents the experience to pursue whatever path they choose. These experiences include elective rotations with community surgeons, global mission trips, a well-funded research lab, and multiple training sites which include a Level I Trauma Center, nationally renowned Children’s Hospital, a VA and multiple ambulatory surgery centers.
- What I like about living in Milwaukee
Milwaukee is my hometown. I enjoy the seasons and the people, especially my friends and family that live nearby. Whether it be ice fishing on Summit Lake or road biking in the country, there is always something to do outside the hospital year round and good people to do it with.
